Latino-owned!

When my grandma was 86 years old, I picked up my handycam and filmed her for six hours. Slowly, I made time to film her making her famous tortillas by hand, her arroz y frijoles, and followed her along as she read the newspaper, tended to her garden. Time continued to pass and I set a goal to complete a short documentary to honor her life. I premiered it at a “lifetime achievement award party”! Hundreds of friends gathered to honor her life and accomplishments. It was magical!

When she transitioned into the spiritual realm, we all gathered and watched her documentary. Her jokes, her laughter, and spirit are so beautifully encapsulated in this film. It’s a gift we all treasure years later.

After creating this film, we have had friends reach out wishing to honor their own loved ones. Hence, Memento Mori Films began.

We are Latino-owned, passionate filmmakers, and we want to share the gift of film with families across the globe.

It would be our honor to help tell your loved one’s story!

Lights, camera, action!
